First of all I'd like to point out a couple of things that can be illustrated with pictures -- Masaki's errant strand of hair and Yurino's red nail polish. At intermission, I turned to Manda and said, "it's amazing how one can watch the entire first act of Elisabeth and barely look at Death at all."

That was basically my method for viewing the entire show. Not necessarily because I was trying to avoid Asako, but simply because ( I actually watched 'Elisabeth' for Elisabeth. )
